Hi fellow W'noters!

OK, well...I never thought I'd sell these, but.....

I am liquidating two of my favorite guitars. (No, not the new Carvin!) LOL

I am selling both my 2000 (year) American Deluxe Strat, and my Brian Moore i9F.

Specs:

2000 American Deluxe Strat
USA Made!
Ash body / Trans Teal finish (VERY RARE!)
Chrome Hardware
BUZZ FEITEN SYSTEM (I had installed!)
Maple neck
Birds Eye Maple Fretboard
S/C dual Hot Rail (Bridge Position)
> I personally installed this pickup <
2 OEM S/C's Middle & Neck Position
(OEM Vintage Noiseless)
Fast / Thin neck
Sperzel Locking Tuners
5-Position switch
Near Mint Condition
(Minor fretwear)

This guitar is absolutely beautiful, it plays like a dream & has outrageous tone & sustain! Resonates very well unplugged, too! Nicest Strat I had ever played. I am the only owner of this beauty, bought it brand new in 2000, and the color is awesome!

MSRP: $1600

Asking: $750 (With OEM hard shell case)

This guitar is SUPER NICE!

2ND GUITAR:

Brian Moore 2005 i9F (Floyd Rose Model)
This is an early Korean model (i-2000)
(NOT THE CHINESE i-1000)
Beautiful quilted maple top
Charcoal gray color
Chrome Hardware
Rosewood fretboard
Floyd Rose model with Locking Nut
Arched top
Unique curved body
Unique input jack location
Plays very nice
H/S/H Configuration
Push/Pull Volume Pot
Absolute shredder guitar
Very fast neck (Similar to Ibanez Wizard)
Getting a professional check-up / set-up as I type this.

Guitar will be shipped with a nice Gig-Bag

MSRP: $1495

Asking: $550

So, why am I selling them, you may ask???

Simply put....I hate the knob locations on them! The more I try to play them, the more I dislike playing them! Damn knobs are just in my way, and it hinders my playing technique. Some folks love the knob locations very close to their hand....I DO NOT! LOL :)

Plus, the new Carvin is getting all my playtime. Not to mention, the Carvin just fits my hands much better. And the knobs sit far away from the pickups (GREAT FOR ME!) It's also much easier (for me) to play on.

So, rather than seeing these beauties sit around in their cases not getting played, I'd like them to go to a good home.

I'd honestly rather buy another Carvin, because I've finally found a guitar design that really works for me.

Shipping, I would assume, would be somewhere in the ballpark of $50 - $80??? (Guessing)

If anyone is interested, (questions) just email me. And YES, I can get plenty of pictures! I will post more pics on my website tonight or tomorrow (of the Strat). Will have to wait until I get the Brian Moore back for more, (better quality) pics.

For right now, you can see them on my website, on the 2 guitar-related pages. In the meantime, I will start posting more pics of the Strat.

I have taken excellent care of these guitars!

Yeah, it was my main axe, and I love it, it's gorgeous...never thought I'd sell it....But, I just can't seem to get used to the knob location...Seems like such a stupid thing, too, but, it really hinders my playing....For me, it's extremely annoying.

Played it since it was new (year 2000), but never on any gigs. Always used indoors (or in studio), not a scratch on this guitar!

But, I thought I'd try here first, before placing it on Ebay. You never know! ;)

Well, I used my old Kramer "610". It's a guitar I bought right when ESP bought Kramer...Reverse/pointy headstock, strat body, lime green, floyd rose....It was my "daily beater". And I don't use that term lightly, either! HA HA HA

It's been dropped, kicked, nicked, scraped, replaced the Floyd system 3 times (from rust), yet, it still keeps on goin'. LOL

The very first night I brought it to rehearsal, I dropped it, and took a chunk out of the body! LOL

It's on my website, in a group photo, hanging on the wall, as a memorial to my gig days! LOL

Basically, I've only been using the electric guitars in the studio, at my producer's house. I used the Strat on the song that I wrote for Joe Piscopo. (Yes, THE Joe Piscopo).....and I use the Brian Moore at his house too, for my solo stuff, which is on hiatus, because I'm awaiting a call for a new project I'm supposed to be working on in the next couple weeks. Just as well, it gives me some time to do some practicing on a lot of the new stuff my teacher has been giving me.

The last band I was in, (maybe 3 yrs ago) was an acoustic trio band. So, I never had to use my electric guitars out on stage. Really fun band, too. We used to do stuff by the Stones, Allman Bros., Johnny Cash, GooGoo Dolls, Tonic, Supertramp, etc...

HELL! We even did the most killer versions of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire", and "These Boots Were Made For Walking". We kicked both songs up about 4 notches, and added some awesome additions to them....

You are a good guy in establishing what works for studio and stage. In my corner, all guitars are for studio or stage, so some may have more battlescars than others. That's probably why they are all equiped with Straplok's.

Chris,
Does the Brian Moore have the 13 pin midi output?

If so I am interested.

So sorry I let mine slip from my hands....

Hi Bill,

Sorry, brutha', no 13-PIN plug on it. I'm really "old-school", with my guitar stuff. A Floyd Rose is about as high-tech as I get. I'm such a doofus when it comes to computer/tech/MIDI stuff.....I MEAN I'M REALLY STUPID with that stuff.

Anything with extra high-tech stuff on it, ain't for me. Unless it's a Chevy big block, 454, with a 6:71 blower, decked out in chrome & billet aluminum, pushing 1000+ horsepower! Now, we're talking! LOL

BTW I'm a midi dufus, too. I never even bought the controller. But the midi picup was a piezo/bridge pickup that was capable of being mixed with the regular pickups. The bridge pickup really sounded like an acoustic guitar.

just a factoid, bro... :)
