Anyone else experience a loud scratching noise at the start of some lessons? (Using Firefox, btw.) Thanks. Any help much appreciated.

The lessons use MIDI, which isn't audio, just data (note, duration, etc.) Theer is no way that select midi files can add a scratching noise.

It could be a problem with the way your sound card is interpretting the midi data.

Does this happen when you play other Midi files or just those from this site?

Thanks for the response. Other midi files seem ok. Checking to see if this happens in IE too. (Should have mentioned that I'm using firefox.)

It is odd... because there's no physical audio associated with a Midi file.

Good luck.
