Hello, my friend Mike,
I know that I had many previous old posts. The carpal tunnel ones were important to me, and I got much good advice from this site.
However, and I say this with much humility: my own flashing lights, my own intuition, I believe, has resulted in the better physical condition. It in my case, was a matter of keeping my injured hand/arm above my heart, even during the night while sleeping, or trying to.
Ambien has been a great sleep aid for me in this regard. Yeah, a few side effects but nothing serious. Much better than sleep deprivation due to pain. Everyone's different, but works for me.
Also what keeps me playing is Percoset. Again, not for anyone.
In short, I haven't beat the Carpal problem, and don't want surgery....I prefer to mask the pain.
Some prefer the knife. Good luck with your decision. Truly.
I know this is late....Craig L
