OK folks, Anyone here use it, used it, or tried a guitar with it? I'm thinking of going for it, on my strat, tommorrow, but, just thought I'd ask.... Man, I'm just tired of some chords not sounding 100% correct. Chris

The string height was determined not by the nut but by the nut fret. There was the nut that was for spacing the strings and a fret maybe 1/8" away from the nut the same height as the other frets so there wasn't any extra string travel. It may have been a Framus guitar. My rythum player has this problem his first posision D is really out of tune. Instead of just touching the frets I think he squeezes the strings too much.

I have about 30 guitars including the basses, and i never take down the serial numbers, i know my guitars from the dings and colors and everything else about them. sure, I have given strats away, gibsons, even a framus akeustic, i just do that. some crack heads, and i found out who one of them was, got into the house and swiped alot of my gear, i guess i just had to tell you how upset i am about it, but i'm getting most of it back. His guitar doesn't stay in tune all the time (strings - others, don't know) but he swears by it in reference to chords. For the most part I never had to many issues. My guess is the G-B string interval (M3) is the greatest savior of this type of system. I really don't know.
