Slash and the VR boys are considering online auditions for a new
lead singer:http://www.nme.com/news/velvet-revolver/36047
They should post out-takes on YouTube!
Peace,
Alan

They ought to get Sebastian Bach. I really think he'd make that band rock!

yeah chris, sebastian bach is a kick-ass rock vocalist it would be nice to have him on the scene, screaming his lungs out over slash's playing, ohh 2 of my favourite musicians from two of my favourite rock bands (of that time period) together in one band!

They tried him out last time. He was one of the first people to
audition for the band. Evidently, the chemistry wasn't there. Too
bad, though, it seems like it would have been a good combination.
I think that they're truly trying to find some "unknown" singer this
time.
Peace,
Alan

They should try Rod Steward... It would be like what Tarantino did with travolta back in Pulp Fiction...

oooooh!

Howabout Chris Cornell!

Blackie Lawless would probably fit the band, too.

WASP released an album last year that was really good. It probably
didn't sell much, but one of my students turned me on to it and I
bought a copy. I dug it.
I think Cornell just wants to be solo. He's split 2 good bands
because of control issues.
Peace,
Alan

That's exactly who I've been saying! Cornels voice would suit the band brilliantly. Plus Audioslave have called it a day recently... which means he must have more free time!

I'd also like to wonder that since Filter and STP are making new albums after "throwing in the towel", that the same could be true for Cornel. We can only hope.
