Goose pimples when he went from Castles to Little Wing.

Thanks for the heads up on this, Jim, I appreciate it.

What kind of guitar is he playing, do you know? Beautiful tone, really frames Patti's voice well.

Sure do. He's playing a Gibson L5. That would be one of the top jazz guitars. They are known for the tone! :) Tuck and Patti synch so well together. Their arrangements are incredible. They make a lot of music for two people!

Yeah it has a great tone! He does sling his guitar a little higher than most...or is that typical of jazz guitarists?

Now and then I have the opportunity to play a Gibson Super 400 that belongs to one of my jam friends. A real nice sounding guitar, really nice...but it's so BIG! Actually hard for me to reach around it.

I tend to wear my guitar a little high as well. I think when you are doing certain kinds of chords and fingerings, a lower position guitar makes it so much more difficult on the wrist.

I have an L5 and it looks huge on me! Great tone though. The neck is fairly slim but the body is a bit bulky. But the trade off is the tone. It has a gorgeous wood deepness to it that is the hallmark of the L5. Always wanted one and got this one about 10 years ago.

Hey Jim,

Long time!!

All I can muster is a huge WOW. I think my neck hair is still on end and, admittedly, I think a couple tears welled up! LOL!!

Tuck Andress right? What is Patti's last name? Her pipes are breathtaking.

Thanks for posting this.

Carl, you should go the their website:

Check to see if you can see them live. They play all over the world but make dates in the states. This was just a small taste of some of what they can do. They are simply incredible. Add to that, they are great people too.

Glad you enjoyed it.

How have you been?

Amazing ... what mastery from both of them. You wouldn't really think it possible unless you heard it with your own ears.

James! We bump into each other over here. Sorry I haven't found the time nor head-space to work on those great tracks of yours. I will though, you'll see.

Looking forward to hearing your playing again. :)

Hi Bill,

Words can not describe their music. So I leave it up to YouTube to do the honors. Well said. That is the way I feel with everything that they do. :)
