With the steadily rising cost of gas, and living in general, have you
noticed any changes in attendance at live shows?
I'd swear that in my area I'm seeing more people instead of less.
Maybe it's just the emergence of Spring.
Peace,
Alan

Not too much, these days. I think they just broke the record for
their worst season ever, and the season isn't over yet.

concerts are sold out here despite the almost $6 a gallon of gas. Of course most people take the trains, which isn't cheap either these days. Prices over the last month have risen in some cases up to 50% ouch!!! Yeah for real Toyko is exspensive

That's not too bad, it's about what we give here for shows. But, I'd
be more interested in what local clubs charge to see bar bands.

Hi Alan
I'll ask around and try to find out the cost to enter a bar with a band playing. Usually there might be an upfront fee that includes a first drink. That gets everyone to pay while they listen to the band and makes sure they buy a drink. Here many times (at least in the past) one could slip into a bar and bring your own booze and not pay nothing, but I think them days are long gone now??
Hey take care
