Hi folks!

I need your help! I am making a paper for school about rock music.
And I want to include a little story about the 10 most important
rock records ever made, like Sgt. Pepper. Could y'all give me some
help with that? Just tell me your favorites! Thanks a bunch!

Sven

Mine would never be in the top 10, but....

J. Geils Band--Bloodshot
ZZ Top--Rio Grande Mud
Rush-- first album
REO Speedwagon--T.W.O.
Led Zeppelin-- Ruins, 4, whatever you call it.
((Actually a bunch of Zeppelin))
Bad Company--Bad Company
Lynyrd Skynyrd--Second Helping
Humble Pie--Smokin'
Montrose--first album
AC/DC--Back in Black
Alice Cooper--Killer
Grand Funk---Mark Don and Mel
Black Oak Arkansas--the first album
Foghat--the first album

I could do this all night, but I'll spare you all the long endless list.

These aren't necessarily ones I do or don't like. But, they were influential in my opinion, for their time.

Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced
Boston - Boston
Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I and II
Aerosmith - Toys In The Attic
Cream - Disraeli Gears
Kiss - Alive II
Janis Joplin - Pearl

They had an influence on my life.

Good luck with the paper.

You've got to include at least 1 album from Chuck Berry the Father of Rock n' Roll.

Tommy? And Miles Davis, Kind of blue? Sticky Fingers or Exile?
Should I put Brothers in arms in it? Sex Pistols? KISS?

I like the Who a lot.

To me, Who's Next still holds up pretty well.
It was one of the first albums to use a synth as a rhythm device, and not just as an effect.
