"Before They Were WholeNoters"

Remember back to the days when you were just a QuarterNoter? Maybe almost a HalfNoter? But nowheres near the WholeNoter you are now?

Some of us have our pics on our homepages, but many do not. Have you ever wondered what your fellow WholeNoter looked like? Have you ever taken that a step further and wondered what they looked like as a QuarterNoter?

Well, one of your brother WholeNoters did and between the two of us, we've come up with what we think will be a bit of good-natured fun and funning.

I've been collecting pictures of folks as kids, with or without guitar, and will be posting them here. With no hints or clues, the rest of ya'll will try to guess who the Noter is. When there's been a correct identification, another pic will be posted.

I know several of you are already working to get your pics from Mom, but if anybody I didn't contact directly wants to be included, please PM me.

So, let's get this started with the first pic I received.

Dad holding up the little tike to pet the thoroughbred....hmmm. Dad's hairstyle, perhaps the late 50s? Or, Mid 80s and just a very conservative father...

Crap!! Skip all the investigative nonsense!!

This one has GOT to be Phil Longo!!
Got to be!!

Just because it's black and white, doesn't mean it's old.

I am gonna guess Germ

I'm guessing it's a younger rather than older who. That looks like too high quality a haircut for the 50's, and it's not quite right for the 60's either. As usual though, I could just be full of crap.

I don't keep close track of age clues that people give here though, so I'm at a loss.

I'm gonna guess (a wild one) Phillip Kennedy even though this doesn't seem particularly Irish, just to make a guess.

I could imagine Steve Cass looking like that as a youngster, but he was out of town fishing (i.e., seriously offline) when you started all this. Don't know if he would have had time to send you a pic when he got back.

That's my best (and only) guess.

So far, this took the longest to guess, at 120 hours, 2 minutes and 3 seconds.

The shortest time so far was Chris Pinto's at 8 minutes and 18 seconds by Edd Robins.
