"Before They Were WholeNoters"

Remember back to the days when you were just a QuarterNoter? Maybe almost a HalfNoter? But nowheres near the WholeNoter you are now?

Some of us have our pics on our homepages, but many do not. Have you ever wondered what your fellow WholeNoter looked like? Have you ever taken that a step further and wondered what they looked like as a QuarterNoter?

Well, one of your brother WholeNoters did and between the two of us, we've come up with what we think will be a bit of good-natured fun and funning.

I've been collecting pictures of folks as kids, with or without guitar, and will be posting them here. With no hints or clues, the rest of ya'll will try to guess who the Noter is. When there's been a correct identification, another pic will be posted.

I know several of you are already working to get your pics from Mom, but if anybody I didn't contact directly wants to be included, please PM me.

So, let's get this started with the first pic I received.

No! I change my guess. This one has to be Bob Kent too. He's wearing a dress to throw us off.

I know your tricks Mr. Kent.

Yeah, we were so poor, I had to wear my older sister's hand-me-downs. Bloomers too.

I think it's Jim Heidinger. (Hey, if I keep guessin' that, I'm bound to get one right sooner or later.)

Ok, I'm gonna have to agree with Mr. Longo. I took a look at Chantal's homepage with her strap biz. She looks just a bit too young to have had a B&W baby pic.

Sorry Deb! Seems a lot of us here are in that B&W baby pic category, so I vote for you.

But then, Bob did make a convincing argument......Nah!! My first vote is for Debra.

I'll go with Deb, although, in our generation, the quibling about black and white vs. color was a moot point.

If you see a stone carving that represents a human, it's probably either Debra Jean or I.

Even if it has opposable thumbs...yep, might be us.
Craig and you're welcome Deb hehe

I'm kinda leanin' towards DJ, too. It'd be just like her to try to slip one in on us. I'm thinkin', too, that the pic looks a little bit like her daughter, so maybe the genes were passed along. Other than that, WAY too big of an age span to be sure. Heh, heh.

The pic I scanned for this is the one my grandfather carried in his wallet from the time it was taken till his death when I was a senior in high school. It was one of the few things of his that I claimed.
