"Before They Were WholeNoters"

Remember back to the days when you were just a QuarterNoter? Maybe almost a HalfNoter? But nowheres near the WholeNoter you are now?

Some of us have our pics on our homepages, but many do not. Have you ever wondered what your fellow WholeNoter looked like? Have you ever taken that a step further and wondered what they looked like as a QuarterNoter?

Well, one of your brother WholeNoters did and between the two of us, we've come up with what we think will be a bit of good-natured fun and funning.

I've been collecting pictures of folks as kids, with or without guitar, and will be posting them here. With no hints or clues, the rest of ya'll will try to guess who the Noter is. When there's been a correct identification, another pic will be posted.

I know several of you are already working to get your pics from Mom, but if anybody I didn't contact directly wants to be included, please PM me.

So, let's get this started with the first pic I received.

He is Australian! Hmmm.... Andy Wood? If Chris Pinto is Australian, I would make a conclusion that that's him.

So Chris must be what...about 200 years old?

They must have colorized the photo? No, that doesn't work either.

Ahhh, but it isn't! That flag is an old American flag (it has a circle of stars, right?). It's not the present day one. Thankfully it doesn't matter...

Either way, he is an American. There is a good hint. lol

Yeah- I guess that narrows it down a whole lot!
I had forgotten that stuff about the old American flag. Between the states flags and the New Zealand flag there are also a lot of flags that look superficially like the Australian flag- and I seem to remember a similar situation applies to the American flag.

Hey Tracy!

Well, long story short....I had my long hair for over 20 years (maybe longer)....Between the gallon of shampoo per week, and hour long showers....Got to the point where I had enough, and wen't and dun' cut it all off! LOL

Figured, while I was at it, might as well drop 80 POUNDS!

Cut the hair, dropped weight, finally got the girl I had my eyes on for 3 years!

It all paid off in the end! LOL

Thanks alot Tracy, I really appreciate the kind words! :^D

Actually 20 pounds of hair! LOL

And, yeah, I am happier these days!

I actually had no choice in losing the weight, however....Had some bad stress problems, I was rushed to the hospital one time during band-rehersal after passing-out right in my living room. The guys were scared to death, they woke me up, drove me to the hospital...Woke up on a gurney with my arms numb, chest pains...Thought I was having a heart attack.

Scariest moment of my life!

Anyway, after weeks of testing, Doctors told me to lose weight, eat right, and start excersizing regularly. Said I had serious stress. I went from just about 250 pounds, down to 170 pounds, in approximately one year.

So, I just kept at it, and 80 pounds later, here I am, feeling better, looking much better, I am blessed with having a wonderful relationship now, and I consider myself a pretty lucky guy! hehehe

Now, I just gotta get rid of this damn sciatica problem!!! It has sure put a damper on the ol' workout routine!!! :)

Not to mention, every time I sneeze my leg hurts like hell! Not fun! hehehe

Chris
