i had mine out as 10 yo in the uk. that was they day when they tore a trench in your guts and sealled it up with all these metal clips like giant staples. they kept in hospital for 3 weeks. remember the nurse coming along to take out clips.........i think i cracked a woody cause she slapped me and told me to behave........didnt know what that was back then.

I am reminded of the magazine ad for Taylor guitars..."2 days without playing my Taylor, and I'm already going nuts". My Father had an appendectomy quite a few years back. The word "lazer' wasn't even in the dictionary yet. They cut a hole in him big enough to insert a get well card. Hope you get better soon.
