Greatest bands of all time

Who are the greatest ever? I vote for The Who, The Beatles, and the Moody Blues, with honorable mention to Yes. Let's see what you think.

i thnk a lot of people are getting too worked up about the whole "greates" band thing.it's like if someone doesn't agree with your choice you consider it a personal attack on yourself.this post probably should have been labeled your "favorite" band(s) of all time.just for my enjoyment the bands that have taken up the most time in my life are: 1 led zeppelin, from blues to folk to metal, they do it all and are a personal guitar inspiration

2 van halen, hard rock, spanish solos, slide guitar, hawaiian bottleneck, eddie is very much an innovator and another big inspiration.

3 queen, this band still had good years left to them if it weren't for freddie's death. their diversity is of course very apparent.brian may is the unknown british guitar hero.

honorable mention 4: the hee haw all jug band, for the obvious reasons!!
