What do you call yours?

I was having this conversation with my wife and a friend. I love my gear and hold it very close to my heart. I like to give them names when I get to know them better. My wife thinks I am the only one.......

What do you call you guitar(s)?

For me ther is Big Black Betty. She is a Epi-dot. She has a buetiful vintage burst finish and boy is she smooth. I started to call he that when I played with her for the first time. She can be smooth when she want to and have a really bad attitude when you push her around. Though she was not me first love, this axe is my current steady. The frist electric love is Candy. She is my sharp and agressive Fender Super Stat Deluxe. Though I don't give this one as much attention as B.B. Betty, I keep her around when I really need to kick some ass.

Then there is the quiet one. John Henery, the Blueridge acoustic. This guy is a fighter. I play he when I am on the road.

Tell me about yours. Or just make fun of me being such a psyco.

Is it because it's your favorite? And when you get a new favorite will it be the guitar formerly know as prince?

Indeed. It is kind of shaped like that symbol.

I aways thought that symbol looked like a Celtic Glyph, so why everyone else called him "The artist formerly known as Prince" I refered to him as Glyph. Maybe I should name my guitar Glyph.

If I named all the guitars I've busted up, due to a crappy night. They would all be worthy of a little guitar graveyard in the back yard.

Picture this, a little mound with steel strings laying on top, the fretboard and head as the stone.

RIP - Rest In Pieces.
