Around midnight, moonlight in vermont(johhny smith) version. Geeez, his tone. I would kill for it.

That's sweet! I'd love to play anything by Johnny. That is such a beautiful recording. I have a few songs downloaded by him, but i want to find more. Do you have any albums of his you would suggest?

thanks

Hey there David, unfortunately J. Smith recording output is not that vast. Other than "moonlight", there's the import "Kaleidoscope", and "The soound of johnny smith's guitar." Also check out anything by Hank Garland!! I wonder what the board members think of former Testment guitarist Alex Skolnick and his two jazz recordings. IMHO, I love them. Jazzing up metal tunes.
what do you think.

Basically any Lamb Of God song, because they play in werd time signatures, and I guess I'm not used to that yet :)

Lamb Of God? I can play that song...Does it go:

Lamb of God, you take away, the sins of the world....

Like that? Ah yes! The name of the song is Lord Have Mercy, great Christian song, the chorus goes:

Lord have mercy, christ have mercy, lord have mercy on me

Really slow song, one of my favorites.

Uh...there's a metal band called Lamb of God. I wouldn't really call it Christian music, but that's just my opinion :)

Hmm..that would be "Beat on the Brat" by The Ramones, I think I should challenge myself a little more...kidding. Right now, I'm trying to learn (emphaisis on the word "trying"!) "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits. Its pretty hard, but its fun.
