Thanks Carl, after listening to your take and hearing some simularities, I went ahead and posted what I recorded last Monday. We'll have to collaberate someday, although I guess we already have (sorta), didn't we? That was one heck of a track you put up too! Loved it, one of my favs.

Yeh, I guess we have in a roundabout sort of way.

Once again, your track sounded very good. I dug the heavy chords on the intro. I was thinking of going that route but the more I started foolin with effecs while Willie's track was playing I kinda noticed that it flowed really well. I didn't want to mess that up.

I'm not trying to imply that you did though, so please don't take it that way.

You were correct in saying that the track lends itself to all sorts of styles. That in itself makes it a really good AAT back IMHO.

I like the ballads, they can be so melodic, although I experimented maybe just a tad bit much, LOL

Forgot to tell you, all I did was set the POD on 2 and tweeked the amp to high gain, and effects to compression/echo. All through a Laney Pro Tube, which I really like.

Everything else is at detent, except volume.

You rock! I love that heavy meat-grinding intro. Really appropriate. You jam, my friend. Thanks for a great take. I was thinking while I was listening how many different ideas this track lends itself too. I was thinking maybe an acoustic backing revving itself up to a Nancy Wilson-style all out strum fest, and then going back over with stuff that maybe included some wah. Oh man! I really got to get my act together and get back into the swing of things! I'm really whetting my whistle on this one!! I'll be doing some add a tracks sometime around 60 days or sooner, I'd guess.

Anyway, good to hear your jams. Maybe you could sneak a little Taylor in on your next take??

I've been waiting for the right track to feature the Taylor on. Did play a bit of rhythm on one of Bob's tracks awhile back, but nothng special. I like your ideas though, and will contribute if I can. Thanks for checking this thing out and commenting on it.
