Willie's AAT for December

I spoke to Bob K. this afternoon/evening over the phone, and he has convinced me to post this one for you all to have a go, so let's see some of you big boys give me your best shots!

It's called "Father to Son". It's played at 75 BPM, and is mostly in F (though I have yet to master writing in keys).

I've had her downloaded, I love the "Floydish" vibe. Hauntinly mellow, nice use of delay in there, bro' Willie. Given the time, I'll be playing along.....

Nice talkin' to ya as well!

Very nice bro. I think I'll take a shot at it.

It seems as if your "synth" parts are a bit off key?? No biggie to me, I'd try to solo over a car wreck!!

Talking to Bob K on the phone is much like talking to a lost brother. You know he's a butthead, but it don't seem to matter cause he's cool. LOL!!!

Late.

I presume that you're talking about the fourth note in the second cycle(there are three notes the first go around, then four the next go around, repeat). It's in key with the song, but it doesn't seem right with the other notes that are playing at the same time. I'm not sure why I left them in there, other than to confuse you...

You deserved that redneck! Heh heh...

Willie, I am glad folks are giving this a heads up, it's not only a great job of some playin', but the mix sounded nice, bro'.

Best of days to all, can't wait to hear some takes....

James,

I couldn't get it to play for some reason? Perhaps you are updating it while I'm trying to access it?

I'll try again later on bro.

Good one, got it downloaded

I'm gunna try this out tomorrow

Talking about keys, you might try jumping up a whole step to G (in the middle of the tune somewhere), to give it a bit of suspense!

Just an idea ;)

Cool

Just call me bad ear (didn't catch that by listening to it), cause the tune is played in D, so you'll want to jump to E

I had some time to tinker with it yesterday, but not quite enough. Hope to post something here soon. This is a great (quite versatile for the lead player), backing. Was having fun with it when my dear wife had a "brainiac attack" to go out and shop :(

She has never learned, I hate shopping, but to keep the spirit in check, I gave in :)
