I've been doing a little horse trading lately. I met a steeler named Duane Becker through the Steel Guitar Forum. I had some vintage recording gear (Some old RCA ribbon mics( that I've held onto since the 60's and traded 2 of them for a Sho Bud Pro II Custom. It has both E9 and C7th necks with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers. This particular guitar was blessed with the "sound" in abundance and makes even my feeble attempt sound sweet. Duane played about 40 apearances on the Grand Ole Opry with this very guitar.

I'm gonna be selling my GFI S-10 on eBay very shortly.
Here's a picture of my new sweetheart

Bill, that's nice. Don't know much about them, but looks like fun sounds can come outta that thang. Grand Ol' Opry, man my parents used to rock to that! Where I first saw the likes of Porter Wagner, Johnny Cash, the old school MTV, man...

...looks like a nice piece, Bill. Happy slidin'!

Best of days t'ya,

B Kent

Seems like I've been in an election year slump...doing OK but not great.

I sold a guitar to a fellow in PA last year, but I dumped my hard drive a few weeks ago, and am having a tough time finding his address. I don't sell through dealers, so it might be tough. You can HEAR a bunch of tunes at www.electrocoustic.com/audio ... And of course, I'll guarantee the guitar will play "right". Up to about 98 instruments so far, including the latest model, an electroMando.....
