Best Strat Songs To Learn

I just got a used Strat. Ok, now what? What are the best Strat songs to learn? Here is my list:

Little Wing (Hendrix)
Lenny (SRV)
Riviera Paradise (SRV)
Travis Walk (SRV)
Layla (EC)
Wonderful Tonight (EC)
Where the Streets Have No Name (The EDGE)

What do you think? What is your essential strat song/sound?

I've been afraid to even try that one. Good suggestion.

Don't let cliffs intimidate you. I learned it pretty early on as far as guitar lessons went. There's nothing really complicated about it, it's all just a matter of memorization and using your ears. There are a lot of good tabs out there for it!

Some things are more intuitive for me than others. The melody or "head" is no problem, but I find Eric's solo/lead phrasing and fingerings to acheive it awkward most of times.

I'm not motivated enough to learn the whole tune well enuff for public consumption. I've already butchered it in public once, painful, hard lesson to learn.

I still enjoy listening to Eric play it. Even on a bad day at a live show when he's off a bit, it still sounds perty darn gud.

Great list!! Though I don't believe I've heard SRV's 'Travis Walk'... How does it go?

I can't think of anything to add...You've got it nailed with that list...

Just for the sake of adding another SRV song, I'd add Tin Pan Alley...

Not the biggest song he ever did, but it's one of my favorites.

Well, I like it because there's no singing. It starts out with a fast mixolydian riff that defines the song. It has a great guitar solo followed by a piano solo. The CD has House is Rockin, Riviera Paradise, Wall of Denial, Cross Fire, ...
