Do any of you ever pop in at Active Bass

Just curious... I'm a member of AB. Some of the bass players have homepages set up here. I just copied my homepage from AB to here. I've tried to get my guitarist to create a homepage here, but he's not real fond of computers. I come over here from time to time and check out Fretbuzz, lessons and other things. It's pretty interesting at times.

Oops, Dave, I already told the folks here about your experience with Yngwie! It was too good not to share with guitar players!

Yeah, you can tell I have hung out here a bit over the years. I think there are more bass players here than guitar players over there.

Thanks for coming across the street to this here coffeehouse!

No don't worry about it, Thanks Tracy... I was thinking about posting it here but then I didn't just want to jump over here and post it. I was debating it and thought it would be a good story to share with guitarist's... but then I thought they would hate me being a bass player and jumping over here and posting that. I don't know if I would have or not... You did me a favor and made it easy on me.... Thanks again.

Yeah, I'm kinda just a gossipy old hen . . . "Psst guys, guess what they're saying over at ActiveBass" . . . *LOL*

Don't look too carefully in the archives; you never know what I might have shared!

I see our dear ol' friend "Griz" logged in here quite a bit, though he doesn't post much.

i think the only people we don't take kindly to around here are people who don't contribute anything to anything.

oh and especially when those kinda people cuss a lot for no reason at all.

that's just annoying.

but you're okay in my book!

Well,I confess. I have G.A.S. I just bought another guitar last week. With guitars,I get copies for now, except the last one,but I don't put alot into them. The last one was a calf Tele. But I just wanted a Tele. I sold my Strat because I kept hitting the p/u selector while strumming. The Tele just feels better strapped on.Before that,I bought a Jay Turser 335 copy. Not alot of money but for me, good accoustic(good enough for private accoustic practice) and able to be played thru an amp. There was a post here recently about bass amps performing well for guitars. Yup,good clear tone thru my 4x10 cab.I won't play it too loud yet tho,I feel I'm too sloppy on guitar still and need more practice.
