Yeah, you can tell I have hung out here a bit over the years. I think there are more bass players here than guitar players over there.

No don't worry about it, Thanks Tracy... I was thinking about posting it here but then I didn't just want to jump over here and post it. I was debating it and thought it would be a good story to share with guitarist's... but then I thought they would hate me being a bass player and jumping over here and posting that. I don't know if I would have or not... You did me a favor and made it easy on me.... Thanks again.

Hey Dave,Tracy. I guess my home is AB but I want to learn guitar too.Get better and better. No better place to learn it than here at WN and on the most part,good guys here.

That's what I'm thinking too Donnie. I guess I'm gonna have to break down and buy a guitar.... And maybe start spending a little more time over here on WN.

I too a have bass bone in me.I sometimes play bass as a fill in if someone needs the night off and sometimes on jam nights at local clubs when I ain't got nothin' to do.There are alot of cats at activebass that have great insight.

Well,I confess. I have G.A.S. I just bought another guitar last week.With guitars,I get copies for now,except the last one,but I don't put alot into them.The last one was a calf Tele. But I just wanted a Tele. I sold my Strat because I kept hitting the p/u selector while strumming. The Tele just feels better strapped on.Before that,I bought a Jay Turser 335 copy. Not alot of money but for me, good accoustic(good enough for private accoustic practice) and able to be played thru an amp.There was a post here recently about bass amps performing well for guitars. Yup,good clear tone thru my 4x10 cab.I won't play it too loud yet tho,I feel I'm too sloppy on guitar still and need more practice.
