i am into right now Ani Difranco. she tours with her a bass player and a drummer. that is one girl that knows how to rock. and boy does she attack them strings..

totally, i read an interview with her and she was talking about tearing up one pick per take. and how she gets the thickest fake nails ever made and straps them on with electricians' tape.

crazy...... that girl knows how to rock.... almost every song she has, has some trippy kinda tunning going on... and even have a poster of her on my wall in my room, i know i am a geek

Stray Cats, before Brian Setzer went Mtv-ish, just great stuff. But i have to give it up, cream, and hendrix (exp & band of gypsys) are great.

Has anyone heard a new group out of Boston (i think) called Guster, two acoustic players and a guy on drums. They play some good solid tunes.

The MULE Rules, baby!  God bless bassist Allen Woody's wonderful soul—he will be sorely missed.  I just hope the Mule will carry on proper.  There's too much talent and great songs left in Warren to put the Mule out to pasture just yet.

Well, you know how I feel about Blink 182, but GreenDay is actually a really great band. If you listen to them from their 1st Cd on, you can really hear them growing as both people and musicians. While they're musically ability doesn't seem to impressive, the lyrics are definitly getting better and more 'adult'. As opposed to Blink, who is the same age, writng about high school... But we went through that already.
But my favorite trio would be would be would be... hell I don't know. I don't pay attention to stuff like that.
