Wholenote T shirts

If they made 'em, would you wear 'em?

if you think about it, it'd be a unique way to get all the people of the site to meet each other: "hey, a fellow Wholenoter!"

One of the original owners of Wholenote did make T-shirts. This was back in 1999, I believe maybe before but they gave Tshirts to some of the "old Heads" that use to be here, including myself. So wholenote t-shirts are in existense.

Howdy I've quietly checked out what ya'll have to say now and again as my little Sammy but this thread tempted me into morphing into myself and responding.

How serious are you all about creating (re-creating) a WholeNote T-shirt? I do that sort of thing as a hobby and would be willing to do some for you for the cost of supplies, materials and postage.

I could easily customize to your heart's content (within the bounds of MY taste and judgment) Long sleeved black T-shirts with skulls or road kill armadillos or even armadillo skulls are no problem. How about blue flaming armadillo skulls? I will not be party, though, to anything depicting women in a derogatory manner or as a part-objects. There's enough of that already and this is my effort to decrease it.

Someone mentioned "Base Logos" for the different musical focus group-good idea.

Someone else mentioned the trademark issue. I already have an e-mail into the designated address asking about using the WholeNote logo for T-shirts and to get further info about the shirts produced in 1999. Anybody have a picture of one of those to e-mail me?

Others bandied about (please notice my puns) the concept of other items, but I think I'll stick to T-shirts for now. Because of their whigmaleerie ways and intense interest, I considered asking Randy and Bob to model the male thongs if the time ever comes to expand, but the site name is WholeNote, not QuarterNote, so I'll leave those sleeping dogs lie.

When I hear from The Keepers Of the Trademark, I'll post what I learned here. I better "Simmer Down Now" and say good-bye till later.

"Good-bye till later."

Eagle's skull from the album cover not a problem. Already have it on file-along with my roadkill armadillo.

I'll have to check into doing ball caps. Application may be a bit more tricky. Basically I'll be working with my inkjet printer and iron on transfers. I'll check out further application possibilities over the next few days. So far I've used the Burlington brand transfer on some T-shirts and like the color quality. Did a neat one of just his guitar as he played that I got from one of the pics I took of the band. I'm not sure about how they hold up to laundering over a long period though. Heck, I have some T-shirts I've had for over 20 years - gee, I must have gotten them when I was only 9 years old.

I have not gotten a response from the trademark potentate yet. Don't see why there should be a prob since I'll be representing them as them and not something else. Is only "WholeNote" trademarked or "WholeNote.com"? I believe just the first. Do you all want the .com on your shirts?

Bob, glad your sense of humor extends to folks you don't even know.

Dave, I posted that early in the morning (for me), guess my thinking wasn't going that fast yet. Sure wouldn't want to forget the little folk.

It would be interesting to see what the old t-shirts looked like. Anybody have one they could photograph and scan in?

In the late 70's they meant the same thing here. We also called them flip flops (self explanatory IMHO). If you think about it, the fabric (or lack of) in the back of the modern day thong has the same ummmm divisive function that the rubberish material did between your toes in the late 70's flip flops (aka shower shoes)
