Using a strapon

Ok - got a strap (the propper name for that is what?) It does NOT work. It takes me back to pre-begining stage. I CAN'T SEE! Is guitar like typing? Should I try not to look as I learn?
(Not that it even sounds possible at this point)

"That" look.

The title was suppose to be Using a strap on a guitar. Didn't quite happen that way, but now I know how to get a quick responce ;-)

Yeah, that really got my attention! :)

Anyways, I'm sure the guitar strap you got works just fine, it's just different playing while standing up. I think it's a tad bit harder, but you get used to it.

Try tightening the strap so that it's further up on your body, as if you were sitting down. (know what i mean?)

300$ ?!?!?! Is it gold plated?
Dang! Now the strap I was talking about was 4$ at the music shop. (a cheapy just to see if I'd like it before hunting down a nice leather or swede one.)
Even the 'other' um, strapons are only $39.95. (worked in one of "those stores" for a while as a favore to to owner.)
