I have a Zoom MRS4 (4 track digital recorder) and it works very well for me. You can record music onto smart media cards, and then have your pc read and edit your music.

This is my problem: the card manager software that is available to read the mrs4 music files is rather limited. You can't even control the levels and volumes during a song (or I am using it incorrectly, which is a possibility).

Can anyone suggest a pc program that can read and edit wav files? The mrs4 card manager software is necessary for reading the initial files, and then you can create wav files of the tracks, but another program could edit those wav files more effectively.
