Beginner Software

Hello,
I am looking for advice on the best beginner software for someone who is new to the guitar. So far I have bought: Guitropolis Ver.2 from Alfred Interactive and eMedia Guitar Method Vol.1 (including eMedia Guitar Songs). I like both programs very much, but I was wondering if there were any others that you could suggest?

I own an Alvarez RD20S Acoustic Guitar and I have way more ambition than talent.

Thanks,
Bart

you should check on kazaa...just type in something like 'guitar' with software checked and there are a lot of free programs that help with stuff like fretboard memorization and music theory.

Kazaa? I guess, if you don't mind spyware... That's Kazaa itself, BTW.

Kazaa is spyware, if you don't know what spyware is, look it up, you might be very surprised. If you want to try Kazaa but don't want the bulls--- that it installs on your computer, try Kazaa Lite, or the new eMule.

I had kazaa for a long time on my computer, but got rid of it last month. I was really thinking more of some sort of interactive CD or DVD. I may try a video or DVD if anyone has any suggestions on that.

Thanks,
Bart

Guitar Masterclass from www.pgmusic.com may be an option.
I had a quick look on it because it came with another software I purchased.

I took a look at the website you provided, I may try it out later on. The price is certainly right.

Thanks,
