Opinions on the Crate FX Amps

I was interested in getting the Crate GFX12. I believe it's called that. Well anyway, it's the least expensive of the crate fx amps. Is it crap? I don't need anything to powerful because I'd p--- off the neighbors. Thanks for any help

Anything that says crate on it is s---, in my
opinion. If you want something small that
sounds good (of course it depends on your
style), look into a small tube amp. It'll be worth
the money and a good one can last a lifetime.
A small Fender tube or a Mesa Studio .22
(amazing versatility). please, go for the tube.
you won't regret it.

I've got a Crate GX-30M. It has a couple effects built in. The Chorus is ok, although I really don't use it all that much. It has an Overdrive that is great. I dont know what you like to play but I can get a near perfect AC/DC tone. It is also great for a few Zeppelin songs. Not that that is all that wild but boy it kills what I had before. This is the only Crate I have ever used but I like it quite a bit.
