Late Nights

Am I the only late night fretbord feak in this world? Man I'm up till four or five in the morning with nada to do and all you guys are asleep. Whats up with that? I run out of Jack about two, and after about three my lungs hurt so damn bad I just can't smoke another cigg. Isn't there anyone who wan'ts to stay up and talk to an irresponsable wanna be musician like my self?

Well I can tell the other college students at wholenote. I'm always up to 4, but this is my exam week, in fact I won't have access to the internet for about 3 weeks. But i'll be around after that for a late night forum. Maybe We should use that chat room that is completely ignored.

Danny,

I'm hear as often as I can be. If I didn't play so much at work, I'd be worried about my skills going down hill. See you when I get home from the bar tonight.

I'm definitely with you guys in the sense that creativity hits me in the late nights!

I'm not 100% sure what it is, but there is something special about the wee hours that triggers a response from certain people. I wouldn't be surprised if its a mixture of the events of a day culminating in a surge of emotional/sensory activity, perhaps a bit of booze, caffeine, stimulants of some kind, the sheer lonliness often found at those wee hours, and perhaps just pure boredom taking on its most productive form; expression!

I can do silent recording with my amp so thats a godsend for a nightowl muso like myself.
I doubt I could create anything finer than a 2-chord country and western ballad in the more sensible daylight hours, its gotta be dark!

Cheers

Well, you're not the only one who does this. usually, during the week I'm up until around 2-3, either playing guitar or Playstation-2.

Unfortunately, it totally screws me up during the day at work! I walk around like a zombie. :)

On the weekends....I get damn near NO SLEEP at all.
