Lesson #4401 - Charlie Christian's Bb Blues
Hi Tom!
Great lesson, CC is one of my biggest influences...gee, there's something different :-)
I wonder if any one else has reported a problem with the main sequence of this lesson.
When I press play, I get neither the groove nor the sequence. When I deselect the main sequence I can hear the groove. However, I can find no way to hear the sequence.
Don't fret;)! Just wait and if no one else brings this up, its probably just some bug. I don't usually have any sound problems but once in awhile, they seem to pop up for everyone on this site.
Anywho, I'm glad to see anyone post info on CC. What a great player he was in just his short time here. I can't imagine what he might have accomplished with more time!
Thanks,
Jeffrey

Thanks for the feedback. When I go into the new lessons section, I can hear both the main sequence and groove together as well as each individually. This is only my third WN lesson, and the first time I've used the groove builder. If other folks are having the same problem as you're having, I can try to reload sequences. I'm glad you like the part of the lesson you're able to see/hear. CC was really a pioneer and although he was on the scene such a short time, he laid down the foundation upon which jazz guitar was built. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot known about him. Like bluesman Robert Johnson, he exploded on the scene for a very brief time, but left a profound legacy.
