I like how the Dixie Chicks are doing those public service promos, telling kids how focusing on their music keeps them away from drugs, etc. It's a nice gesture, but really, if you want to keep kids away from drugs, do you want to encourage them to go into the music business?

Kinda like being in junior high during drug awareness class, and they pass around that wooden case with examples of all the things that can get you wasted.

That case was always empty when it came around to my desk.

Mind you, I don't think it had anything in it to start with.
