I know that this one is a dead given, but Puff Daddy& mase, don't get me wrong. I do like some R&B, but not much. On the other hand I hate Puffy. Oh ya, most of the new prepackaged country sucks raw eggs also!

Here's my bit. The Rolling Stones are the most
overrated group ever! I absolutely hat them.
Their songs aren't clever, they all sound the
same, the music is so simple, Mic Jagger is a
horrible singer, the lyrics suck (spare Sympathy
for the Devil), on and on. Sorry. I also agree
with some of the other posters in that I hate that
so much rock is about being violent and negative
messages. As a song writer, I try to contradict
these horrid messages by exploring the motives of
hate, violence, and insanity rather than provoking
it. It's unfortunate that those bands get so much
attention.

Seeing all these I don't like the Greatful Dead posts really make me laugh. I used to tour with the dead and towards the end I wished more poeple didn't like the dead. (another story for another time)

The Rolling Stones--I love there old stuff but can not stand there more recent "music".

Any boy band---really don't like.

You know, an English guitar mag (Total Guitar) once printed an arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody for one fingerpicked guitar! Was nearly impossible to play, they said most of their staff managed to play the first ten bars, but to prove it was possible the put it on CD - sounded great. Wouldn't that be a challenge for a jazz guitarist that has all his strange and complicated chords down?

I love that song, Bohemian Rapsody, as well as a few others by queen, i love that kind of stuff by them. It was amazing with Freddie Mercury's Voice and Brian May's guitar, i always think of Wayne's World so maybe that's why.

I really liked queen for about 6 months after the first waynes world came out. Then my younger brother got ahold of a Queen CD, he played it 24-7 it never stopped and to this day I cannot listen to queen.

I gotta agree with Queen. They are very talented especially Brian May but it's not a style that appeals to me.

Two words: Steely Dan. So much talent for so little purpose. Brilliant, brilliant musicians writing interminable, boring songs.
Ooh, actually, two more words: Carlos Santana. Same deal. FM rock to the nth degree.
