Imaginary Collaborations.

I was thinking the other day and wanted to hear your guys's opinions, what would come out of say Steve Vai and Stevie Ray Vaughan teaming up to record an album together or something ,or better yet ,take SRV ,Vai ,and Tal Farlow, I know they are completely different and incomparable but for conversations sake what would happen, would it be competitive, would it turn out bad or good, or would be a revolutionary album for the guitar, this is just a "what if" scenario that i was thinking about, tell me what you think.

How about John Schell on lead, SRV, Hendrix and Clapton playing on and off rhythm and 2nd lead. I'm surprised none of you imagined that already! Then Neil Young, Bob Marley and Dylan on backup vocals and doing the songwriting. BB King, Albert King, Pat Methany, Satch, Vai, Ennngoooweee (sp?) all sitting in the crowd with their arms folded saying.
"I could do that"
Hey you said it was imaginary.

Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana made a good pair on supernatural "The Calling", and I think that They could make a good album. I also wonder what it would be like if you added SRV or Hendrix to the mix. It would sound very different, but I'm sure there would be a good performance there.

Jimi Hendrix - Miles Davis .
That one was actually gonna happen if it weren't for Jimi's early leave. Too bad.

Dagan Harrington - Jimi Hendrix .
I'm not out of the running am I?

Bach - Yngwie Malmsteen .
Hahahaha . It would either be good or funny, I can't decide. I love yngwie, but he's mainly a shredder and I'll admitt that.

hhmmm
one more.
Carlos Santana - (Limp Bizkitt Guitar Player) .
Carlos show him a thing or three.

Interestingly enough, Hendrix was very close to
joining Keith Emerson and Greg Lake along with the
drummer from the Experience. Then, the drummer
Carl Palmer was chosen instead, but Hendrix was
still scheduled to try out a jam with them, but
his life was cut too short. The band would have
been called HELP. The best combination would be
Steve Howe guitar, Rick Wakeman keyboards,
Chris Squire bass, Bill Bruford drums, and
Jon Anderson vocals. No wait, that's already a
band
