Now take a look at the followng sequence. I think you'll notice that it is frighteningly similar to the previous example. The only difference is that now we're looking at major 3rds in the key of D major, again played on the first and second strings. Notice that it's the same double-stop run only one whole step higher. Once again, focus on the patterns of your fretting fingers.
