The Diminished scale has been used for a long time, Mozart used it and it's fairly easy to understand. The scale is usually 1-4, 1-4, 1-4, such as using mainly your index finger and your pinky. The one below is the basic F scale. I name it that because it's the first note, but the scale can be named by any note in the scale, I could also call it a G# scale, or a B scale. |
