This is a very cool pattern that I play, when you desend on the 3 highest strings(E B and G) the pattern is 8,7,5 (frets) and on the lowest strings (D A And E) the pattern is 9 7 5 (frets). But, the thing is when you are Ascending the pattern back up, you play notes the same way you did when you came down, from highest to lowest, instead of lowest to highest. This exercise is made for alternate picking.
