Basics 4 Beginners
Impress your girlfriend or mates :), with these 2 simple but jazzy chords, well worth getting under your belt: C and F - Major 7. Both use open strings and are quick to learn.
Try 'em with a simple 4 downstroke rhythm counting 1 2 3 4 as you go and loop continuously.
It's real easy to make the changes and it sounds nice and jazzy-ish. To finish off the little sequence anytime, land on the CMaj7 chord (to resolve it). Resolved means the sequence sound's finished as such. If you were to land on the FMaj7 chord it feels like it wants to always go back to the C, which in this case is the "home" chord - so finish off on the CMaj7 and... You're laughin' ;-)...
