This is a similar ascending lick that is a little harder to play but still pretty simple. It has a "back and forth" pattern that can give a solo or lead guitar part a lot of momentum, it has a strong rising sound. This is one of my favorite licks and I use it for blues, rock, and metal. Once again, start at a slower tempo (120 perhaps) then increase the speed. When playing metal I like it at the 280 to 300 speed. Also, while this lick ends abruptly with a bend I would hold that bend out and shake the sucker!!! ( more on vibratos in a later volume)
