Please check out my "Bone Head Blues" lessons 1, 2, and 3 for more blues phrasing ideas.

You can hear my stratwrasslin' noises at: Rico's Gruv at SoundClick

This was my first attempt at building a lesson for Wholenote. This is a simple transcription of what I consider a "signature" Stevie lick.

Used with variation in many tunes, from the funky feeling "Mary Had A Little Lamb", to slow blues, such as "Texas Flood". The sequence player doesn't seem to do justice to the triplets, but hopefully you will hear what I'm trying to share.

It is fingered from the good ole' "blues scale" we all know and love.
