A Warmup Exercise

This exercise works very good as a warmup, but also for improving your skills, as it keeps both hands busy. It is also possible to play across the entire fretboard, just change key (this example is played in D-major). Start at a slow speed, so every note get a clear and good sound, and then build up speed from there. You should never try to play it fast until you've gotten both yourself and your fingers used to the pattern, because that will in most cases result in frustration and you'll eventually get tired of trying. And remember, the most important thing is to have fun while playing!
