Sorry if this lesson is short but hey its not the size of the lesson but the quality of it (or something like that!)

When attending an audition at the guitar institute the guitar teacher gave me a plethora of advice on every aspect of guitar playing but the best thing he said was that you should try and justify everything you play.

Sounds easy but its useful because during that audtion i would be playing some music and he would say what chord is that (not because he didnt know, but to test me) and a lot of the time i couldnt name it. And it doesnt just stop at knowing what a chord is but knowing why it sounds like it does (e.g.Notes of the chord etc).

Thats where chord formulas and constructing chords comes in along with the notes of the scales etc, which im sure has been covered in other lessons by other people, so go check them out to progress from what ive said.
