For the absolute beginner......

This lesson is a work in progress and we'll keep adding to it, including finger picking, arpeggios, and solos. As we progress we'll attempt to increase your skill levels in several ways.

Firstly, strum and memorise these chords. Just use down strokes to start with. The strum pattern should sound like "1 2 3" "1 2 3" etc with a little more emphasis on the "1".

Remember to put your thumb as close to the middle of the back of the neck as possible and finger each string cleanly. Don't press too hard and keep your fingers just behind the frets.

More pages follow.

Click on each chord in quick succession and see if you can recognise anything :-)
