Pinky/Ring Finger Exercise
This is a exercise that's designed to strengthen the pinky and ring finger and also to improve alt. picking and develop speed.
I'ts important that you use strict alt. picking starting on both an upstroke and downstroke.
Play all the notes on the 9:th fret with your index finger, all notes on the 10:th fret with your middle finger, all notes on the 11:th fret with your ring finger and all the notes on the 12:th fret with your pinky.
Practise with a metronome at any speed you're comfortable with until your fingers tire, let them rest and do another run until you can't stand it. Do this a couple of times a day and your pinky should start getting stronger pretty fast.
