This was originally in 6/8 time, but is in 3/4 time in Sequencer. (It only does 3/4 or 4/4 so I hadn't much choice.)

There is a pickup note at the beginning to balance the incomplete measure at the end.

Play this strain/sequence/section twice and go on to the next page.

This is dance music, so it's lively, but not so fast that the dancers will fall dead in the middle. And it needs to keep to the beat.

Play the chords on the first and fourth 8th notes for a 6/8 feel. (DA da da DA da da)

The chords, from the first full measure, are: D G, D D, Dm D, C D, D G, D G, Dm C, D G.

I always wish I knew more about these tunes. The names are so colorful I just know there has to be a story about the tune or maybe there were even words to it at one time. I'm assuming this one is Irish because of the "Kildare" name in the title.
