Once Upon My Cheek
This reel was originally in 2/4 time. (To make it 4/4, I made each note twice as long. That is, I made the 16th notes into 8th notes, and the 8th notes into quarter notes.)
Again, this one has pickup notes at the beginning to balance the partial measure at the end.
The chords I use, from the first full measure, are:
A A A E, A A A D, A E A A, A A E E, A A A E, A A A D, A E A A, A A A.
For reels, like this one, I sometimes use four chords per measure. In this case, one chord per quarter note. (In the 2/4 version, it's once chord per 8th note.)
The chord sequence, from the first full measure, is as follows:
Play this section ("strain") twice, then go on to page two.
