This was originally in 6/8 time. (Unfortunately, the lesson software on this site only does 3/4 or 4/4 time, so I had to edit the time signature of the piece to make it fit this website.)
Unfortunately, the groove machine only does 4/4, so here are the chords for this from the first full measure:
G, G, C, C, G, G, C, G.
The rhythm, as I play it, is one chord for each group of three 8th notes. That is on beats 1 and 4 of the 6/8 time.
There is a pickup measure at the start that balances the partial measure at the end.
