The second thinnest string, or "B" string is the subject of this lesson. This lesson is on a main topic in theory, and is based around standard tuning.

The B string makes three notes.

Heres an exersise. Play this on the B string. Call out the notes as you play it.

In music notation, the note B is found on the third line down from the top. The C note is found a space above it. Then D is found two lines down from the top.
