My First Jazz Composition...and It Sucks

This is the first jazzy, bleusy, insanely idiotic thing I've ever made. It's pretty simple and fun to play I will admit. It deals with common chord progressions one of which resembling Pachelbel's Canon, only slightly botched into sounding as if it were written on a tropical island... Also, I am still trying to conquer my newest enemy, the composer, so you will notice a couple of rythm errors, but hopefully you'll get the idea. All the chords in here should be familiar to you. They are all Major and minor,7th, or (I believe) add 9 chords. ( I don't know much theory so please correct me if I'm wrong.)

What I hope you get out of this "lesson" are primitive ideas for riffs, improvisation, and arrangement. For the lot of you that know more than me, hopefully, you will be inspired to write something melodic.... Also, if you have an opinion.... at all...Please drop me a line. I would appreciate anything you have to say, because it will only help me.

Enjoy......be sure to tip your waitress. Brent
