One Scale, 3 Names

It is important to realize that a scale is really just a collection of notes. Depending on how you organize those notes, you can come up with several different names for the same grouping.

For this reason, these 3 scales are equivalent- F jazz melodic minor, E diminished whole tone, and Bb lydian dominant.
