E chords also have "G#"'s in them. "G#" is the third of the chord. (in other words, G# is 3 notes from E). E is actually a Major third from G# (2 whole steps)...this is
important because the third "colors" the chord. Her is Em and E major-notice that although only one note is different, the chords sound very different.
