So what should you do? How should you practice?

For each and every key:

play the chord progression, giving each chord 4 beats play the chord progression giving each chord 2 beats play the chord progression giving each chord 1 beat repeat that exercise, with all string sets repeat that exercise, with all inversions play the arpeggio for each chord play the scale for each chord (dorian, lydian dominant, major is a suggestion, but there are other options) alternate scale and arpeggio for each chord play the progression, and sing what you just played play the progression, and sing what you want to play play the progression, and sing and play the same thing at the same time
