Stretching...and More Stretching
In one of my other lessons I discussed wide stretch runs and four note per string scale shapes. I was contacted via feedback by another member who, quite correctly, pointed out the lack of information with regards attaining the required reach. If you were born with huge flexible hands then this lesson might not be for you. If, like the rest of us, you are only mortal.....read on.
I want to stress the importance of taking this one VERY slowly. The 'No Pain No Gain' attitude doesn't apply here. When it starts to hurt STOP. Take it slow and ensure that each not rings out. This is not a speed exercise and there are no prizes for the first player to develop Carpal Tunnel syndrome.
